Healthy Christmas Gifts to Inspire, Pamper & Empower

Previously on PCOS Matters, I shared some PCOS Gift Ideas for those struggling to find PCOS specific presents. Well, it’s that time of year again. I thought I’d share some of my current favorite healthy Christmas gift ideas. They’re not all specific to PCOS, but they’ll be ideal for women with PCOS who are trying to improve their health.

Some would make great stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts; others are definitely for a significant other. Or why not treat yourself to a gift you really want?!

Overall Natural Health and Wellness

Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker

healthy Christmas giftsFitbit is one of the top-rated fitness trackers available. The Fitbit Alta model includes an OLED tap display, tracking distance, steps, and calories burned. It also has sleep tracking – telling you how long and how well you are sleeping. A good night’s sleep is something many women with PCOS find a struggle. This would be ideal for helping you test what improves (or causes problems) with your sleep patterns. It syncs with both Android and Apple phones and you can buy extra bands to color coordinate.

Radha essential oil diffuserRadha Beauty Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser

If you love using essential oils or want to discover the power of aromatherapy, then this oil diffuser is perfect. Aromatherapy can help with emotional stress, anxiety, depression, and many other issues. The Radha Beauty essential oil diffuser contains LED colored lights in 7 different colors to help create the mood you want and an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier (no need for candles or heat). You can also buy a range of essential oils multi-packs inexpensively and test what works best.

Healthy Food Helpers

Spiralizer Tri-BladeSpiralizer Tri-Blade Vegetable Slicer

Not everybody’s idea of a great gift, but this is perfect for people who are trying to avoid gluten, too many carbs, or the wrong kinds of carbs. Using vegetables as pasta is becoming increasingly popular and many supermarkets now sell vegetables already spiralized (is that a word?). Having your own Spiralizer is far more cost-effective and this heavy-duty version has different slice settings.

Owl CrockpotOwl Sage Green Classic Crock Pot Slow Cooker 2.5 Quart

I’ve recently been singing the praises of crockpots for healthy, low-cost meals. They save time and help you avoid junk food and takeout. There are loads of different crockpots, depending on what you need it for. The large 6-Quart Cook n Carry would be useful for bigger families or for taking to pot-lucks and BBQs, while 2-3 quart crockpots are great for singles and smaller families. You can find them in a whole host of different designs to match your décor – there are even crockpots to support your favorite sport’s team. Personally, I fell in love with this 2.5 Quart Sage Green Owl Crockpot.

Breville Juice Fountain ColdBreville BJE430SIL The Juice Fountain Cold

Juicing is as popular as ever as a way to get your daily dose of vitamins and minerals straight from the source. A powerful juicer is vital to make sure you get all the goodness from your fruit and vegetables with minimal mess and preparation time. This Breville juicer features cold spin technology, so no heat is created during juicing to damage the vitamins and minerals.

AeroGarden Classic 6 with Gourmet Herb Seed Pod Kit

Aerogarden Classic 6If you have a budding chef or gardener (or both) on your gift list then a grow-your-own herb garden would make a fun and useful present. Anyone interested in natural health is probably also interested in using herbs for cooking, or making natural remedies and cosmetics. The AeroGarden Classic 6 means you can now grow herbs indoors using hydroponics. You don’t need much space, at all (just a little bit of countertop).

Of course, if the gift receiver has a garden, they can start more simply with a starter kit like the Nature’s Blossom’s Herb Garden Starter Kit.

I also love their Blueberry Oxygen Facial Scrub; both are perfect for pampering.

Talking of journals, these handmade leather journals from Soothi with embossed covers featuring inspiring quotes make beautiful gifts. They can be used by journalers who don’t need the kind of writing prompts included in the previous book, or simply as a stylish notebook to jot down lists, ideas, recipes or addresses.

PCOS Specific Gifts

Insulite HealthInsulite Health 5-Element System

There aren’t many comprehensive systems to help you tackle your PCOS, so if you’re looking for a gift that will help you (or your partner) get the support, guidance and nutritional supplements you need, then Insulite Health is the one I recommend. It seems an odd kind of gift, but some of you may struggle to justify paying for the program over other expenses in your life. Perhaps you should make it a gift instead; your health should be a priority.

PCOS Matters Merchandise

PCOS Matters Travel MugIf you want something specifically PCOS Awareness related, I have finally put together some items with a simple PCOS Matters teal ribbon design. There’s black and white mugs, travel mugs and phone case designs, available through Gearbubble. 20% of all profits will be donated to PCOS awareness and research charities.

Healthy Christmas Gifts – Take Your Pick!

I hope one of these healthy Christmas gifts has piqued your interest as something that will be enjoyed by the woman in your life (or yourself). As with the previous gift blog post, bear in mind that not all gifts suit all people. For example, a juicer for one person might be the equivalent of buying them a vacuum cleaner or ironing board, so choose wisely!

Please note: there are affiliate links on this page. 20% of anything made by this website is donated to PCOS awareness and research charities with the rest helping to fund the hosting and other expenses of the website.
